So I'm off to Vegas for Magic.Project.FoshoFoshow.United.Pool.NBA All Star and whatever else is goin' down in Sin City this weekend so posts are going to be limited...I shouldn't say limited... I should say non-existent...I mean...I'd say I'd post from Vegas but we all know that's a f'in lie...I'm def gonna be too caught up to be tryin' to post anything...Have fun while I'm gone kiddies... F'in Valentine's Day...

Anybody that knows me knows I'm not a fan of Valentine's Day...It's a money wasting trap that causes nothing but arguments between otherwise happy couples...It's not that I'm against love...It's just that I'm a realist and I don't need a fake holiday to pressure my significant other into doing something he otherwise wouldn't be doing and creating tension between us...I can do that all on my own...

The easiest way to avoid the unevitable Valentine's Day argument is to make sure you get your love a gift, shove it under their face at about 9-10am and then turn your phone off the rest of the day...It always works for me...

So I've been a lil busy and haven't gotten around to posting this...Actually I think I was just a lil upset and didn't feel like braggin' so much...I got 'em in the mail finally and Livestock was kind enough to create a shirt in honor of the occasion and I think that's hot...I took scissors to the neck of course I AM a broad...

I do have a couple complaints about the shoe tho but since I'm a diehard Jordan fan and will never bad mouth this shoe I'll only talk about my biggest complaint... the 23 stitched into the side is not original to the shoe even those these are supposed to be the original colorway...I'm takin' mine this weekend to Chambers to let them black out the 23...Anyway...Other than that I LOVE THEM!!!! They bring me back to my early high school years...I've already had a Do The Right Thing moment in them and almost slapped someone for steppin' on them...good shit...

Swatch Concept Watch

We all know I have a love/hate relationship with watches...but every now and then I find one that really grabs my attention...Here's another one that's pretty ill...It's from Swatch and it's a concept watch...It has a built-in MP3 player, video player/recorder and a photo album...and of course it tells time too...I'll have to keep my eyes open and see if they ever do actually drop this watch...This might be a good look for them... I don't think they've sold a watch since the late 80's...

Word on the streets is there is about to be a new Sidekick 3 release...No fashion designers this time around...This collabo is with Dwayne Wade who apparently is an avid Sidekick user... He helped design this model and it's supposed to include“realistic basketball-textured backing for added comfort and grip”. The number 3 is also higlighted as it's his number and the number of the 'kick...Not sure when it's going to be released...

The Mooninite Street Team Arrested...

Back on the 16th of January someone sent me this video of peeps sniping in LA and Santa Monica...Now I thought this campaign was ingenius...it was taking guerrilla marketing to a whole new creativity level incorporating art and technology...and the little Mooninites hangin' around the city were so cute...I was immediately a fan...

Today I walked in the office and received this link... In this post 9-11 era we need to be more cautious but are they serious about arresting these fools on hoax charges?!

Now I know this Mooninite campaign was not directly Hip Hop related but we all know street marketing IS...SO my question is...Is THIS the year the Feds try piece by piece to disassemble Hip Hop? I rarely email my friends mp3s. The files are large...you send them to peeps hotmail/gmail/aol/whatever accounts sometimes they bounce back and... whatever....its a f'in hassle that I don't really care to figure out so I don't do it... this tends to make me stingy with my music tho and I just realized this deprives a lot of my friends...about 2 weeks ago one of my fellow 'heads (hip hop...not sneaker which I also happen to be...now that I think about it...he's a sneakerhead too but right now I mean hip hop) sent me a link to the Walk It Out remix that I've had since early November... it made me realize I need to give back to the community that gives to me...

See my taste in music is ecclectic and sometimes called questionable kinda like my taste in gear (altho of course I think it's ill) so I really don't wanna waste anybodies time sending out music no one wants to hear but me...with all that said I WILL send a track to whateyesaygoes every once in a while cuz I've known him since '88 and I know his taste in music...I found this Jazzy Jeff track over at NahRight.com and sent it over....this is the response I get....
