TYRESE ALLEGATIONS MAY BE FALSE!!

Singersroom.com just sent out updated information on the Black Ty saga...

This is a statement from his baby momma's attorney...
"Reports Tyrese punched my client -- his girlfriend -- in the arm, thigh or anywhere else are false. It is true, Mr. Gibson and his girlfriend had been arguing. She became very emotional and distressed during the argument and called 911 in an attempt to get a mediator. Mr. Gibson, frustrated, left the home. My client, Mr. Gibson's girlfriend, who is 11 weeks pregnant, then became more upset and began throwing up. When the paramedics arrived, concerned about the baby, they took her to the hospital. Fortunately, she was fine. Once at the hospital, she was asked by a nurse whether she had been assaulted. She said no. She was then asked what her pain level was on a scale of zero to ten. She said zero. She then discharged herself. "Mr. Gibson and his girlfriend are very much still in love, together and excited about their expectant child. She is quite saddened that this event was so distorted."

Let's hope for Black Ty's sake this is true cuz this whole thing sounds like a whole lot of PR control. He has that Transformer movie coming out...I would hate to see another black man ruin a career by actin a fool and I'm sure his baby momma realized in the end it might hurt her pockets too...

New Female Rap Group

AllHipHop.com has reported the emergence of a new female rap super group ...Jacki-O, Remy Ma and Shawnna...How they got together is beyond me...Guess we'll just have to wait for the outcome...let's just hope it doesn't end up like that collabo Foxy and Jacki-O were working on a couple years ago...

Egotrip's The (White) Rapper Show

I am not much of reality TV show fan. As blasphemous as that might be in this day and age, I cannot bring myself to watch them. Most of them resemble a train wreck waiting to happen and I cannot watch the demise and humiliation of these people...especially since most of them don't think they are being humiliated. With that said I stumbled across Egotrip's The (White) Rapper Show... Now Egotrip has a good rep with me...they rarely disappoint so I decided why not...it's hip hop related...at least take a look and see what they have crackin'...

Here's the recap from VH1: Episode #1 - The White House

Ten eager (white) rappers from across the country arrive in the South Bronx with nothing except their skills, heart, and dreams of winning $100,000. As they meet their new neighbors, will they be accused of infiltrating a 'hood that has been doing just fine without them? Meanwhile, back at Tha White House, the show's funky headquarters, John Brown finds himself in a heated encounter with Sullee, Persia... and Persia's dildo. After the dust settles (and, trust us, it's dusty in that crazy-ass crib), Serch enlightens one rapper by teaching a very heavy lesson.

This show is COMEDY and a few of them actually have skills. The beginning audition scenes had me in tears..not solely from laughter though...it was also from listening to peeps destroy an art form I hold so dear to my heart...Not only was it full of 80's sounding childlike rhymes (which was to be expected) but what was that rhyme about a C-SECTION?! Tell me she was not serious. Some things are not a good look for hip hop...more on that later...

When they roamed the Bronx they were pretty much well received which is what I completely expected...I mean it wasn't like they sent them out at midnight with white hoodies on but apparently all the contestants weren't so sure...G Child (one of the weaker MC's in my opinion) had this to say about the experience...

Me being a white girl in Bronx I thought people were gonna look at me funny. I thought people were gonna bust some caps

Somebody needs to bust some caps at her just for making that statement. They also need to bust a cap at her and make her give Da Brat her swagger back...Can someone check and make sure Da Brats closet hasn't been raided? I KNOW she's missing some gear...

After meeting da 'hood they venture back to the tilt where John Brown, Persia and a few others get into a heated argument...John Brown, John Brown...where do I start with John Brown, the self-proclaimed 'king of the 'burbs' ? I can't figure out if the man is delusional, stupid or just playing us all...most of the time he's incoherent but I noticed every now and then he sounded very very sane...When the argument started I found myself taking Persia's side...especially since she is right J. Brown would get on anybody's nerves but all of a sudden she was calling him n*gga and waving a dildo around!! All I could think is...WTF?!!!! WTF is GOING ON?! When J. Brown said... a dildo in the face is not a good look...I had to agree and apparently so did the guys at Egotrip when they declared his statement Hip Hop Rule #38 A dildo in the face is 'not a good look'

Besides spawning a new hip hop rule this whole ordeal also resulted in Persia wearing shackles for using the 'N' word...All I'm going to say is hopefully she learned her lesson...when she started yelling threats talkin about she don't care... she uses it in her 'hood... blah blah blah...I wanted to jump in the TV and strangle her and I'll leave it at that..

Eliminations were actually disappointing especially since Dasit just gave up. He had this to say...

I'm not inspired to sit around and write something on a piece of paper. I listen to music and write songs.

Then brother you're not a MC... composer...ghost writer maybe...never a MC and Serch was right for yelling 'cuz you wasting peeps time...

Check out the show. It's on VH1. They have a page up with info on Serch, Prince Paul, Egotrip and some other random ish...
