WOO HOO!!

ish...

- Beyonce has been rockin' that LV Tribute Bag I was so against...Crazy thing is... She's making me eat my words...That bag is pretty ill I will admit...

- Speaking of Beyonce...I'm happy I'm
not the only one who get's annoyed by her...I was beginning to think something was wrong with me since I don't love her like every other human being...

- Bourjois just introduced a mascara cell phone charm like the lip gloss charm I love so much...Thank da lawd I have 3 cell phones...Where else would I put all my charms?

- Here we go again... Every 6 months there's a new city that tries to cite peeps for saggin'...If this isn't the signs of a police state... I dunno what is...

- I shoulda named this post the Beyonce edition...Class ring maker Josten's has teamed with the House of Dereon to create House of Dereon class rings...Lawd that's just what every teenager needs...A reminder in 30 years that they were stupid enough to worship Beyonce like all the other easily persuaded Americans...

- So Barry Bonds thinks Mark Echo is an 'idiot'...I'm sho he's not the only one...

Alexander McQueen X M.A.C. cosmetics

Word is the Alexander McQueen X M.A.C. collabo will be released in early October and I for one can't wait! The limited edition colors are all from McQueen's autumn/winter 2007-08 catwalk and they are sure to inspire make-up junkies everywhere. I think I'm going to have to experiment with the Electro Sky Paint Pot and the Nile Eyehadow (blue shades)...Archangeli has more pics over at her Flickr account...

My Lip Gloss is Cool...My Lip Gloss be Poppin'...

I have a thing for cell phone charms but I've never thought about the fact that maybe they can actually be useful...I've always assumed them to be useless trinkets with the sole purpose of making me smile (I guess making me smile is a useful thing tho)...Well these cell phone charms not only make me smile, they also enhance my smile...Only available at Sephora, these mini version of Bourjois' best-selling lip gloss, Effet 3D, will make sure that every time you leave the house your lipgloss won't be too far behind...

Oh The Places We'll Glow

I just started wearing blush...I was so against it for so many years and then something happened in the last 6 months that made me fall in love with it (what? I dunno)...Now I'm trying all brands all shades...So I saw this O-Glow months ago and I have to admit I was skeptical...VERY skeptical...It's a clear gel that is supposed to react with your personal skin chemistry to turn cheeks the exact color you blush, naturally in just seconds...Yeah right...Yeah they say it works on all skin tones but a lot of people say a lot of things...Sometimes these things don't work on us with a lil more melanin in our skin...So I had to try it and can I say? I'm in serious LOVE! LOL! It's the best blush ever...It does match your natural tone so there's no need to worry about the color but you do have to watch how much you actually rub on cuz too much and you will mos def resemble Raggedy Anne's cousin other than that it's good ish...

Chanel Holographic Nail Polish?

Man how come no one told me about this holographic nail polish from Chanel?!! Ya'll know I'm a dedicated Chanel Ceramic Noir follower...Something about the silvery black shade hypnotizes me and makes me feel so non-mainstream (I know...it's kinda an oxymoron... you got on Chanel nail polish trying to be non-mainstream...that's my guilty pleasure...like Leah from MOB describes her style...It's kinda 'Park Ave meets the hood'...I'm sho it is...that's the style of most hood fashionistas) Anyway...This color combo looks like it's way more hypnotizing than the Ceramic Noir...How come its not being sold in the States? Might hafta have Lil Miss UPS snatch up a set or two and send them over...

Nail polish trends seem to be copying the 80's...I guess kinda like gear is too...Hey growing up in LA in the late 80's all I ever saw on my older cousins were 3 inch airbrushed nails so I was raised on nail art...The spot on Manchester and Vermont would take a $100 bill cut it up and decoupage the pieces on yo nails (I should go see if they still do that)...Back in college I used to paint my nails every night to match the 'fit I was wearing the next day...I shoulda known then I shoudn't of been pre-med...Anyway... I
'm kinda happy nail art is blowing back up...You can find all kindsa blogs and sites dedicated to it these days...Like All Lacquered Up.com...Good ish...Long live nail art...

Tokidoki X Smashbox...another makeup collabo...

Yet another limited edition makeup collabo...

Smashbox cosmetics has a long history of working with artists. In fact, the entire collection is designed for the needs of the makeup artists and photographers who work on the sets of legendary Smashbox Photo Studios. This season, Smashbox is partnering with a different type of artist - the renowned illustrative artist Simone Legno, creator of Tokidoki - for a magical, Japanimation-inspired collection that is both colorful to wear and fun to tote.Tokidoki: Japanese for "sometimes" is meant to represent the hope and hidden energy we all have inside us that grants us the strength to face each new day in a positive way.

I absolutely love tokidoki...The characters are fly, ill and edgy...and it doesn't hurt that the black one slightly resembles someone I know...it started out as Simone's personal website and soon evolved into a whole tokidoki world... This collabo is already available on the smashbox website

Barbie X M.A.C. Cosmetics...yet another collabo...

First they had the limited edition lipglosses with Disney characters on it and now M.A.C. has teamed up with Mattel/Barbie to create a line of cosmetics...

The collection hits stands 2/13/07 just in time for Valentines' Day ...There will be a limited edition Barbie doll as well as "cosmetics: lipstick, lipglass, eyeliners & shadews, liquid liners, shimmers, powders, nail polish, brushes, and a black makeup bag with pink stitching."

Do me a favor and make sure yo kids don't get into this tho...ain't nothing worse than watching a child roam the streets in hooker makeup...this is strictly for adults...don't get no ideas Naomie!
