Everywhere I Turn There's A Damn Truck...

The latest LA craze is to buy an old taco truck and drive it around town delivering premium goods..I'm not go'n lie... I thought it was a very clever idea in the beginning but now that there's 184 different trucks running around the damn city it's not so cute any more...I have my favorite (Kogi BBQ Truck!) Like I said there's literally about 184 of them so I can't post them all...but here's a list of a few of them...

- Baby's Badass Burgers (did I really just type that?) - The owners of One Group started this truck and very honestly I think they did it just to be funny...STK..Taco Truck... How do those words even fit in the same sentence? But if the burgers are anything like the other upscale food they serve in their restaurants in LA then chasing this truck is worth the gas...Follow Baby's Badass Burgers on Twitter for location alerts as well... (menu)

- Kogi BBQ Truck - These set of trucks go by colors (Azul, Verde, Rojo) and they'll tweet their locations all day so you can catch up to them...The food is definitely worth the chase...Follow Kogi BBQ on Twitter to stay up to date (menu)...

- Fish Lips Sushi Truck - Now I dunno how smart it is to buy sushi from a truck but I purchased some once before from a 7-eleven so I guess a truck is at least one step above that...Follow Fish Lips Sushi on Twitter (menu)...

- Dodger Ticket Truck - Follow the Dodgers on Twitter and they'll alert you to the trucks every stop...You can buy tickets and $1 hot dogs...

- Dosa Truck - What is a Dosa? Follow the Dosa Truck on Twitter...

And last on my list of faves...but certainly not least is...

- Sprinkles Cupcake Van - I'm not even going to explain this one 'cuz if you dunno what Sprinkles is by NOW you might as well shoot yourself...Follow Sprinkles Cupcake Van on Twitter...

I'm just greedy...Simple as that...Summer always seems to lead me on a quest for a new frozen snack to obsess over. The last two summers my frozen snack of choice was Sour Watermelon Slurpee's at 7-Eleven...This summer I have a new obsession Ben & Jerry's Flipped Out!

If this isn't the most ingenious idea I dunno what is... It reminds me of those ice cream cups you used to get off the ice cream truck when you were little but improved by 100%...The fudge and brownie is just right and it really doesn't seem like all that goodness could come in a pre-packaged container...I follow Ben & Jerry's on Twitter and recently they held a lil contest and I ended up winning TWO free packages of Flipped Out! Now if that isn't a reason to tweet I dunno what is...
