UPDATE BRANDY IS GETTING SUED FOR $50M

I was hoping the CHP wouldn't prosecute but compared to this wrongful death suit she'd be better off in jail for a year with a $1,000 fine...They're trying to get $50M from her...TMZ has the court docs here...Let's hope somehow this ish works itself out...I'm not go'n hold my breath tho...

I rarely email my friends mp3s. The files are large...you send them to peeps hotmail/gmail/aol/whatever accounts sometimes they bounce back and... whatever....its a f'in hassle that I don't really care to figure out so I don't do it... this tends to make me stingy with my music tho and I just realized this deprives a lot of my friends...about 2 weeks ago one of my fellow 'heads (hip hop...not sneaker which I also happen to be...now that I think about it...he's a sneakerhead too but right now I mean hip hop) sent me a link to the Walk It Out remix that I've had since early November... it made me realize I need to give back to the community that gives to me...

See my taste in music is ecclectic and sometimes called questionable kinda like my taste in gear (altho of course I think it's ill) so I really don't wanna waste anybodies time sending out music no one wants to hear but me...with all that said I WILL send a track to whateyesaygoes every once in a while cuz I've known him since '88 and I know his taste in music...I found this Jazzy Jeff track over at NahRight.com and sent it over....this is the response I get....

Once again the antics of Mrs. Kimora Lee Simmons have surface and very honestly... So I went to the New Balance Super 33 release party at Sportie LA last night and I'm tired...The shoes were hot (they're designed to look like fishies!!! and every knows how I love fishies!), the DJ even hotter, the sushi was cold (as it should be), I got an allergic reaction to the eel rolls and I damn near OD'd on the swedish fish (I have a massive sweet tooth)...anyway...I ain't postin' shit today...so enjoy this lovely blurred picture (hey it was the best I could do with that stupid Sidekick 3)... this was my favorite colorway...oh yeah... I need these kicks...

ANOTHER COLLABO...Tokidoki and Fornarina

Seems like all I've been talking about lately are collabo's...and as much as collabo's are getting played out I still appreciate a good one... This one is from tokidoki and FORNARINA and I HAD to mention it... Apparently Fornarina has been around since 1947...I discovered them back in 2000 and have been a major fan of the line ever since...The shoes are comfortable... the clothes completely unique and the line is just ill all around...The meeting of these two brands is one of the best I've heard in a long time and I can guarantee I'll be at the Fornarina store on Melrose when these drop...I can always use a good pair of heels and these look like the perfect one's to wear when I'm strolling through Miami...

Drama and Cannon ARRESTED?!

I just walked in the office and was informed Drama and Cannon were arrested ... An inside source tells me they're being held with NO bail or bond...

This news told me three things...
1 - hip hop is bigger than anyone could imagine
2 - the rap game truly is the new crack game
3 - hip hop is so alive and kickin' that the RIAA is upset because they FEEL the decrease in album sales...they know they're losing money to the street... they know we're breaking bread...just not on those wack things they putting out...very honestly everyone knows mixtapes are better than full length albums anyway...knew that from way back when they were really tapes...

A couple of my fellow 'heads and I have been discussing the situation and one of them reminded me that Jam and Rectangle went through the same thing about 10 years ago...the real reason behind their situation...tax evasion...now THIS makes a lil more sense than the RIAA just going around ransacking all mixtape facilities...

I DO know I wish I had my named removed from that email distribution list before the Feds raided the place and snatched up that computer...

Nixie Watch

I have a love/hate relationship with watches...I would really rather not wear one ever but seeing as I live in a society that is dictated by time I usually end up having to put one on...Women's watches are typically too small... they're delicate, cutesy and very honestly most of them just suck...

My first men's watch was given to me by my daddy about 12 yrs ago.... it was a swiss army watch and I loved it dearly... the face was so big it hung over my wrist BUT I could always see the face and always tell time (unlike with that stupid Dior watch I have that is clearly just for show)...I stumbled across this Nixie Watch and I thought it was adorable...
